Moth...Thanks. :) Forgive my somewhat belated reply! Mother of pearl itself is a relatively durable substance, pearls may become dull after decades of daily wear but usually it holds up nicely. Additionally in most raden pens the mother of pearl is covered by several layers of Urushi lacquer which provides extra protection from skin oils, sweat etc. I don't think any deterioration is to be expected and would surely complain to Pelikan or Namiki if it happened to one of my raden pens.MissElderberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00107509287496004722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4762723839403857883.post-57002780157139802152014-06-18T21:27:07.865+02:002014-06-18T21:27:07.865+02:00Spectacular pens, has the raden finish deteriorate...Spectacular pens, has the raden finish deteriorated over time?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04137632914805922134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4762723839403857883.post-76717434284591143582013-05-16T06:30:43.131+02:002013-05-16T06:30:43.131+02:00Glad you like them. :) (feel the same about your c...Glad you like them. :) (feel the same about your cats btw, they are adorable!)MissElderberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00107509287496004722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4762723839403857883.post-32352188437327023422013-05-16T06:01:59.471+02:002013-05-16T06:01:59.471+02:00Oh my.
